Can I hire just the Bartender?

What happens before the event?

We will assist you in putting together your perfect cocktail menu and will incorporate any special requests you have. We will then send you a shopping list of everything you need for your party.
 

How many cocktails should I have?

​

We recommend 6-7 cocktails but this is entirely up to you. We try to include cocktails which require the base spirits (vodka, rum, gin) as this keeps costs down but doesn't compromise on the variety of drinks offered. 
Our menus also include non-alcoholic cocktails so there will be something for everyone.

I don't want cocktails, can you still provide a bartender?

​

Of course. We have professional bartenders who will serve you spirits and mixers, wines, beers​ and soft drinks. We can also provide waiters and waitresses for your event.

What happens on the day of the event?

​

The bartender will arrive 1 hour before service starts to setup (this is not charged). They will bring all of the cocktail making equipment with them such as shaker tins, garnish tray, pourers and an ice well. 
After service the bartender will breakdown and leave the area clean and tidy (this is not charged).

Do we provide all of the drinks or do you?

​

This really depends on you.
If you provide the ingredients, we will send you a shopping list of whats required before the event.
Alternatively, we also offer a full party package which includes the drinks, ice and sundries needed. We will agree this with you before the event.

 

What glassware do I need?

This will depend on the cocktails you choose.
We offer glassware hire at a competitive rate. 
 

How much ice do I need?

We will advise you on how much ice you will need once you have chosen a menu and we know the specific details of the event. Ice is crucial to making cocktails, from chilling glasses, shaking drinks and to put in drinks. We also take into account ice to chill wines, beers, champagne and the ice which will melt.

What's the difference between a flair bartender and a cocktail bartender?

A flair bartender is trained in the art of flipping bottles and putting on a show that will WOW your guests whilst making delicious cocktails.  
Our cocktail bartenders, like our flair bartenders, have a knowledge of over 300 cocktails and are skilled in mixing drinks that will satisfy every palate. 
Both our flair and cocktail bartenders will entertain your guests and will put on a show in their own different ways, whether if thats juggling bottles, performing bar magic or creating amazing drinks for your guests.
 

How much room does a flair bartender need?

Ideally a flair bartender will need a minimum of 2m x 2m to be able to flair comfortably. Anything smaller will limit the amount of moves they can perform. Our flair bartenders will also bring a rubber floor mat with them to protect the floor incase they drop something (it does happen). Ceiling height is also very important too (2m minimum). If they are setup in the garden, they will be able to perform bigger moves.

Can I ask the bartender to stay longer?

Of course. As often happens when you don't want a good thing to end, our bartenders are able to keep the cocktails flowing if you wish. 
Just discuss this with the bartender on the night and they will be happy to stay longer. They will have a job sheet with them for you sign for the extra hours. We will then invoice you after in the following days after the event. This is priced at the same hourly rate as you paid for at the time of booking.
 

Do I need to pay a deposit?

To hold your booking we require a 50% deposit. The full balance is due 7 days before the event.
